I don’t read enough non-fiction. Maybe it has something to do with just wanting to escape reality when I pick up a book. Maybe it’s the trauma from teaching non-fiction for standardized tests for nearly 10 years. But this year, I’m adding more non-fiction to my reading goals.

Notice I didn’t say TBR pile. I rebuke TBR piles.

Hunger: A Memoir of (My) Body by Roxane Gay: I love Bad Feminist, and I love that Roxane Gay is so upfront about everything really. So, I’m looking forward to an unapologetic take on food and body image.
